Newark Surgery Center

As an experienced and capable investor, Dr. Don Jones was frustrated with the common development structure that involved an ownership and management position by a real estate developer to complete a project.

The Newark Ambulatory Surgery Center with four operating rooms opened in July 1998, and has been expanded into a 67,500-square-feet Medical Center with four operating rooms, three treatment rooms, an expanded imaging operation, 33 beds for patients requiring overnight stays, a laboratory, pharmacy, and cafeteria. Medical and surgical treatment will cover 23 specialties, including orthopedics, pain management, gastroenterology and general surgery.

The Newark Medical Office Building, a 60,000-square-foot facility, opened in November 1999.
